HISTORIC SEASON FOR WRECKERS
With a win over Ridgefield at home, the Staples Boys Varsity basketball team finishes out the 2025-2026 season undefeated in regular season play for the first time in school history. The boys completed this epic year with an average margin of victory of over 20 points!
As the #1 seed in both the FCIAC and CIAC Division I tournament rankings, and ranked #2 in the GameTime CT statewide poll, next up for the Wreckers is postseason tournament play.
We would like to extend our congratulations to our eight seniors on the team. Thank you for your leadership and commitment to the program over the last four years. And of course, a huge congrats to our dedicated coaches for guiding the boys through this historic season.
