Goldshore Named FCIAC Coach of the Year by Ruden Report

The Staples Boys Basketball program is proud to announce that Head Coach David Goldshore has been honored by The Ruden Report as the 2025 FCIAC Coach of the Year. Coach Goldshore was presented with this award at the 4th Annual Ruden Report FCIAC Awards Night on Sunday, October 12, 2025. This event brings together standout athletes and coaches from across Fairfield County to recognize excellence in high school sports.

The recognition comes after another outstanding season for the Wreckers. Under Coach Goldshore’s leadership, Staples Basketball has continued to raise the bar—building a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and respect. His steady guidance, passion for player development, and deep commitment to the Staples community have helped shape not only competitive basketball teams but exceptional young men.
